The darkness complete

Light cannot

Escape

Ensnare my mind and soul

The bonds are total

Complete submission to

Unshakable will

Collapsing my resolve

Into its component parts

Nothingness

This poem had a direct inspiration. I ran across this particular picture on Facebook from a group called, "I Fucking Love Science." I saw it and the Black Holes in Your Eyes line (and title) came into my head.
